Job Summary
Business is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Supervisor to lead and direct a skilled maintenance team. This position is responsible for ensuring all maintenance duties are completed accurately, safely, and in compliance with GMP standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and HVAC systems
• Conduct PLC programming and read ladder logic (Siemens, Allen Bradley)
• Calibrate sensitive instrumentation and rebuild equipment
• Perform welding (MIG, TIG, Stick) and cutting (torch, plasma, die grinder)
• Manage plumbing, boilers, compressors, and fire/sprinkler systems
• Maintain facility infrastructure (roofing, lighting, layout)
• Lead and train the maintenance team, providing guidance and direction
• Prepare reports and maintain equipment documentation
• Resolve technical problems and provide creative solutions
Machinery / Equipment Used
• Siemens & Allen Bradley PLCs
• Ammonia and Freon HVAC systems
• Glycol chillers, rooftop units, furnaces, ovens
• Pumps, drives, conveyors, compressors
• Mig/Tig/Stick welders, plasma cutters
• Calibrated instrumentation, boilers, torch equipment
Required Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s preferred)
• 4 years of experience in mechanical or electrical trades preferred
• Vocational training may substitute for 2 years of experience
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
• Able to lift up to 100 lbs and work in 40°F conditions
• Available for weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime
• English fluency (read/write/speak)
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
