Job Summary
Assist Staffing is hiring a part-time Recruiter to support our suburban Chicagoland branch. This home-based position reports to our Business Development Executive and plays a vital role in sourcing, screening, and processing candidates for industrial and manufacturing clients. This role follows our internal process flow and utilizes TempWorks, Indeed, and other sourcing tools to identify and submit high-quality talent.
We are hiring a dependable and motivated Recruiter to join our team. This role offers long-term growth potential and flexible remote hours.
Key Responsibilities
• Post and manage new Job Orders using TempWorks, Indeed, and approved recruiting platforms
• Screen incoming applicants based on job-specific requirements
• Schedule and conduct structured interviews (phone or virtual)
• Prepare compliant documentation: Applicant Evaluations, Custom Interview Questions, Candidate Evaluations, Client Summaries, ASI Resumes
• Create and maintain TempWorks Employee Profiles and Candidacy records
• Follow all internal workflows and quality standards for compliance and process tracking
• Communicate candidate updates to the Business Development Executive and other internal stakeholders
Machinery / Equipment Used
• Laptop or desktop with secure internet access
• TempWorks Enterprise ATS/CRM
• MS Word, Outlook, Zoom, Indeed Platform
Required Qualifications
• 1+ year of recruiting, staffing, or HR coordination experience preferred
• Familiarity with ATS or CRM systems (TempWorks experience a plus)
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Organized and detail-oriented with ability to follow standardized workflows
• Must reside in the Chicagoland area (for local job knowledge)
• Reliable internet and quiet space for remote work
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
