Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Test Technician to join Pillar Induction’s manufacturing team in Brookfield, WI. This is a direct hire opportunity offering stable 1st shift hours, hands-on troubleshooting work, and career growth in a supportive environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform subassembly inspection, unit and fixture testing, and circuit board repair
• Troubleshoot to component and board level on induction equipment power supplies
• Diagnose malfunctions, determine root cause, and make corrective repairs
• Apply schematics, drawings, and test procedures to return boards to original specifications
• Operate test instruments such as oscilloscopes, signal generators, ammeters, and voltmeters
• Provide troubleshooting support to customers (including occasional phone support)
• Perform calibrations, adjustments, and alignments according to specifications
• Follow all safety procedures and comply with company quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in electronics/electrical or equivalent experience
• 1–3 years of experience in electronics troubleshooting, repair, or testing
• Board-level troubleshooting and repair experience strongly preferred
• Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and bills of material
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently; exposure to high voltage and noise environment
