Job Summary
Assist warehouse operations with a strong focus on forklift operation, material movement, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a 12-hour shift environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Operate forklift to transport materials between warehouse, production, and storage areas
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Follow proper load securing procedures and material handling standards
• Perform pre-shift forklift inspections and report issues
• Maintain accurate warehouse documentation and inventory movement
• Follow FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and proper material staging procedures
• Support warehouse organization, 5S, and cleanliness standards
• Identify and report safety, quality, or productivity issues
• Assist with general warehouse operations as needed
Machinery / Equipment Used
• Forklift (required)
• Other powered material handling equipment (as applicable)
Required Qualifications
• Verified forklift operating experience (not general warehouse only)
• Experience loading and unloading trucks
• Understanding of load securing processes
• Ability to perform and explain pre-shift equipment inspections
• Strong safety awareness and accountability
• Reliable attendance, especially for 12-hour shifts
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and work extended standing/sitting periods
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
