Extrusion Operator – Day Shift | Mundelein, IL
22.00+/hr | Direct Hire | Full-Time | Medical & Industrial Packaging
A leading global manufacturer in the flexible packaging industry is hiring Extrusion Operators at their clean, modern facility in Mundelein, IL. This is a direct hire opportunity offering benefits starting Day 1, a stable 2-2-3 12-hour shift schedule, and quarterly bonus eligibility.
Available Shifts:

Day Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM

(2-2-3 block schedule including weekends and holidays)
Pay:
-
Starting at 22.00/hr or more, depending on experience
-
10 percent night shift differential
-
Eligible for quarterly performance bonuses
Key Responsibilities:
-
Set up, operate, and troubleshoot extrusion machines
-
Monitor and adjust forming, winding, pressure, and temperature controls
-
Conduct in-process quality checks and maintain accurate production records
-
Load raw materials and manage scrap recovery systems
-
Perform light maintenance and assist with preventative care of equipment
-
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
-
Prior manufacturing or machine operating experience required
-
Extrusion machine knowledge preferred but not required
-
Mechanical aptitude and the ability to read a ruler (1/16”)

Basic computer and documentation skills

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for 12-hour shifts
