Job Summary
Seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to support high-speed packaging operations on 2nd and 3rd shift. Candidates should be mechanically inclined and proficient in troubleshooting industrial machinery in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
• Disassemble/reassemble equipment (motors, gearboxes, bearings, clutches, electrical units)
• Perform preventive maintenance tasks
• Read and interpret schematics, manuals, and diagrams
• Work independently or with teams to minimize downtime
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Machinery/Equipment Used
• Carton erectors/sealers, liquid fillers, case packers, palletizers, cappers, conveyors, labelers
• Blow mold systems (Uniloy, Bekum)
• Controls/automation systems (Allen-Bradley)
• Packaging equipment brands: Hartness, Hamrick, Laub/Hunt, Diagraph, Pack West, Nordson, Video Jet, Alvey, Meta, Pearson, ABC, E-Pack
Required Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years’ maintenance experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
• Working knowledge of AC/DC systems (480V and low voltage controls)
• Strong skills in pneumatics, hydraulics, gearboxes, and cam systems
• Proven troubleshooting capabilities
• Must supply personal set of mechanic’s hand tools
• Ability to lift 55 lbs, stand for long periods, multitask efficiently
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends
• Self-directed and dependable in fast-paced environments
