Job Summary
A plastics manufacturer in Batavia is hiring a Maintenance Technician for their 3rd shift. This is a direct hire opportunity offering long-term stability, quarterly bonus potential, and a clean, safety-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities

Install, maintain, and repair production equipment and systems

Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues

Perform complex repairs using tools and machinery

Read schematics, manuals, and technical documents
-
Communicate maintenance needs clearly and work collaboratively
-
Mentor junior maintenance staff as needed
-
Adhere to company safety and cleanliness standards
-
Maintain accurate logs of maintenance and repairs

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience

Hands-on experience in at least two of: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, or hydraulic systems

Familiarity with microprocessor-controlled equipment

Injection or blow molding experience is a plus

Strong problem-solving and communication skills
