Job Summary
We are hiring a dependable and motivated Quality Inspector to join our team. This role offers long-term growth potential and consistent weekly hours.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect incoming parts, in-process assemblies, and finished medical devices
• Use precision tools (calipers, micrometers, multimeters) to verify specifications
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and GD&T symbols
• Document inspection results and complete nonconformance reports (NCRs)
• Support corrective actions (CAPA) and root cause investigations
• Ensure products meet regulatory requirements (FDA 21 CFR Part 820, ISO 13485)
• Maintain clean and organized inspection stations and records
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality issues
Machinery / Equipment Used
• Calipers
• Micrometers
• Multimeters
Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required (technical certification or associate’s degree preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in quality inspection (medical device or manufacturing industry)
• Familiarity with FDA regulations, ISO 13485, and GMP compliance
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with inspection tools and computer-based documentation systems
• Ability to lift 25 lbs and perform visual and manual inspections
• Must be able to pass a caliper/micrometer measuring test
