Suburbs Branch | Quality Inspector

Shift: 12-hour shifts on a 2/2/3 rotation (Day and Night shifts available) – Job Type: Full-Time
Pay Rate: $24–$26 per hour | Night shift includes 10 percent shift differential

Job Summary

Assists the Quality Lead and Operational Quality Manager in coordinating and executing quality objectives across the organization. The role focuses on inspecting, measuring, and testing products to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards while supporting operational efficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, and measure materials, products, and work to verify conformance to specifications
• Read and interpret part drawings, manuals, data, and other materials to determine inspection procedures and specifications
• Analyze test data and make computations to determine results
• Collect or select samples for testing or reference models
• Compare colors, shapes, textures, or grades of products with standards, templates, or samples
• Perform lot documentation review and approval to ensure compliance with procedures and documentation practices
• Reject products and materials that do not meet specifications
• Discuss inspection results with responsible personnel and recommend corrective actions
• Mark items with acceptance or rejection status and grading details
• Measure product dimensions using inspection instruments
• Write nonconformance, deviation, and rework reports
• Support company policies including cGMP, ISO standards, safety requirements, and continuous improvement initiatives
• Follow cleanroom procedures, PPE requirements, and safety protocols
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in the quality profession
• Ability to read and interpret part drawings and technical documentation
• Ability to use gauges, inspection fixtures, and leak testing equipment
• Familiarity with Statistical Process Control software
• Associate degree preferred
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to stand for approximately 75 percent of the shift
