Job Summary
Assists the Quality Lead and Operational Quality Manager in coordinating and executing quality objectives across the organization. The role focuses on inspecting, measuring, and testing products to ensure conformance to specifications and quality standards while supporting operational efficiency and compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
• Inspect, test, and measure materials and products to verify conformance to specifications
• Read and interpret part drawings, manuals, and technical documentation
• Perform dimensional inspections using precision measuring tools
• Analyze test data and determine results against specifications
• Conduct visual inspections (color, shape, texture, defects)
• Perform lot documentation review and approval (GMP/GDP compliance)
• Reject nonconforming materials and document findings
• Write nonconformance, deviation, and rework reports
• Communicate inspection results and recommend corrective actions
• Support cGMP, ISO standards, and quality system requirements
• Follow cleanroom procedures, PPE requirements, and safety protocols

Required Qualifications
• Minimum 1 year of quality inspection experience in manufacturing
• Must have experience in one of the following:

Plastic injection molding

Medical device manufacturing
-
Plastic or mold inspection
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Experience performing dimensional inspections and evaluating results vs specifications
• Experience with documentation review (GMP/GDP understanding required)
• Hands-on experience with precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs with or without accommodation
Disqualifiers:
• Candidates with only PCB inspection experience (no plastics/medical/device environment)
