Job Summary
Electronics Engineering Technician responsible for troubleshooting, testing, and calibration of electronic test and measurement equipment. This role includes component-level diagnostics, repair of returned units, and supporting production through final assembly and testing.
Key Responsibilities
• Troubleshoot PCB assemblies to the component level using schematics and diagnostic tools
• Perform final assembly (“box build”), testing, and calibration of electronic equipment
• Diagnose failing components and complete repairs rather than replacing full assemblies
• Repair, test, and recalibrate units returned from the field
• Read and interpret electrical schematics for troubleshooting and circuit analysis
• Maintain production documentation, repair logs, and inventory records
• Work independently to identify root causes and resolve technical issues
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments as needed

• Oscilloscopes
• Multimeters
• Electrical test and measurement equipment
Required Qualifications
• 2–4 years of electronics or electrical troubleshooting experience
• Strong understanding of circuit analysis and electronic theory
• Ability to read and interpret schematics
• Experience troubleshooting to the component level
• Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and similar diagnostic tools
• Ability to work independently and solve complex technical issues
• Willingness to work overtime (5–10 hours/week as needed)
• Strong attention to detail and documentation practices
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively
Preferred Qualifications
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering Technology (BSEET, BSEE, or similar)
• Experience with SMT soldering and de-soldering (basic repair level acceptable)
